Nimeitembelea Fumba Town site project na ni Wajerumani na wanaonekana wako serious na wanatoa title deed ya lease ya miaka 99 ambayo inajumuisha nyumba na kitalu (plot) kwa jina lako. 

Kusema kweli ni mradi mzuri na ni vizuri kuutembelea. Ni nyumba 1200, hospital/clinic, school, banks, parks, sehemu za kufanya ibada...na mengi mazuri. I visited the project site and the two model houses. Only thing I didn't particularly like is the design of the houses (especially the first row) do not make good use of the fantastic ocean view. Jambo la pili ni nyumba zimefanana sana lakini ni jambo la kawaida kwa gated communities na real estate development projects za aina hii. 

But I think everything else makes it a worthwhile investment. Houses can be built by using prefab or concrete.

I visited their website where one can book an apartment. I filled on the form which ended in Facebook but have not had any response. 

Best approach if you know someone reliable in Zanzibar who can assist. Better still is to be in the ground in person. To chose the best location is important.

All in all Fumba Town Development is a refreshing indication of the spirit of New Zanzibar.
